Single most important goalie statistic?

What is, in your opinion, the single most important statistic? I know you're supposed to use all 3 major stats (Wins, GAA, SV%), but if you had to judge a goalie based on one, which stat would you use and why?

So if any of you 'win guys' were a GM, you'd take kiprusoff, nabokov, or miller over thomas, vokoun, or anderson?

Save percentage (GAA could be greatly effected if a goaltender faces a lot of shots on goal).

I would take the first three over the last three.

At the same time, all goalie stats are important, and they should all be considered as pertinent, not just one.

Uhh YES! And it's not even Close. Are you seriously telling me that Vokoun and Anderson are better than Miller nabokov and Kipper?

The save % tells me that goalie is keeping his team in the game and give his team a chance to win. Wins and GAA is more of a team play than anything.

GAA and Wins are a team thing and Sv% is more individual (but a team can allow the opponent to take a lot of bad shots since they know you can save them easily). Therefore, since this is a team game and a team's culture is more important than stats, Wins are the most important.

Wins is a horrible stat to judge a goalie by.

I guess the most important is SV%, though even that is hardly telling. 5 breakaways are more deadly than 10 shots from the point.

Save Percentage.

GAA is usually the effects of a good team playing infront of the keeper. But the save percentage shows that even if he only faced an average of 18-22 shots he let in a bunch.

As a (Lacrosse) goalie, I can easily tell you the one stat I care about...

WINS.

SV%. If a goalie has a .943SV% but is 4-9 it shows that the goalie is showing up for the games, but the team in front of him isn't giving him the offense needed to win.

Save%

Wins alone is a horrible way to judge a goalie.

Save percentage is arguably the "purest" of all the standard goalie stats, in that it's the least affected by the team's overall quality. But like all other stats, it's still far from perfect, of course.
