Hell no!

Why should we trade Kessel or Bergy? If we do so we kill a big part of our offense. I'd rather get someone like Leopold without giving up a young and good roster player.

Don't get me worng, I would love to see Pronger on our team but not at the expense of Kessel or Bergeron.
Stuart or Ference, Lashoff, Colborne or Hamill, our 2009 1st rounder for Pronger

I'd do the florida trade... Repik is solid prospect who has started producing in ahl after floating around without points for like 20 games.

Ducks need solid D and Bouwmeester sure is nice guy to come in return.

People seem to think that giving up the farm for a 35 year old defenseman, who is on the downside of his career, is smart. Hopefully the Flyers stay far away from Pronger because reading some of the proposals so far is ludicrous. Two top prospects and a first round pick? No way, not for Pronger. Bouwmeester? Maybe, but not Pronger.

I don't buy him being traded. But if he is, then New Jersey should trade for him.

That way we can avoid watching the playoffs and just hand them the cup.
Either one of them IMO. New Jersey and Boston would become obvious favourites to walk out of the East if either one lands Pronger.

The thought of Pronger and Chara together for a bare minimum of another year after this is truly frightening.

These are so obviously made up. How is Florida going to give Anaheim a 2009 conditional draft pick when the draft is prior to July 1st? Back to the drawing board...

You're going to have to otherwise you won't be able to sign Kessel and Krecji come July

You know, JayBo to Anaheim for Pronger...that actually does make sense. Panthers don't have to worry about what to do with their star player for another year. Ducks would probably sign Bouwmeester if the trade was to go through.

I can't imagine anyone doing a deal for JayBo unless they had a deal with him done.

Edler or Bieksa + Grabner or Raymond + 1st 09 for Pronger + Pahlsson

That's about the best we could do I think. Anaheim might ask for Schneider instead for Raymond or Grabner, but that would be a harder pill to swallow. Gives Anaheim a young top-pairing defenseman to play with Niedermayer next year at a reasonable salary, young top-six forward, and 1st in 09.

Yah, heaven forbid we hurt Ryan Kesler's feelings when acquiring a Norris trophy calibre defenseman, and an elite checking line centre.

Boston fans sound exactly like Rangers fans a couple of years ago....Montoya is untouchable, would have to seriously overpay, will never be traded, ect.
He's a 22 year old prospect and thats it. Prongers value is going up more everyday leading up to the deadline.

CBC Hotstove mentioned St. Louis as a possibility for Pronger too. I'd prefer to see him sent there.

The Rangers had a 24 year old Franchise Goaltender already. Anyone with a brain knew that Al Montoya could be had. If Boston trades Rask, who plays in net for them next year, with two 34 year old UFA's at the position now?

Laugh all you want, but it's two completely different situations, and Rask isn't going anywhere.

There isn't a team in the NHL that would turn down Pahlsson coming there way.
He is the most underrated player in the NHL and dominates opposing #1 lines

considering how many times Chia has said they have no intention of moving Rask I don't believe this.

and if they do move him, I'll be pretty sad. No other goalie in the system with 2 35 year old goalies who could leave this summer.
