Allah'k was awesome yet again.

Pacioretty looked great in a checking role in the third... Good to see at his age.

1st star -- Halak

2nd star -- Halak

3rd star -- Halak

Honorable mention -- the flu virus that kept Nabokov out of the game

Two games against two of the top teams in the league including the very best on the second night.

4 points.

Frankly, anything else is nit-picking.

As a bonus, that 4-game win streak is really helping their seeding. Nobody's catching up to them as long as they win, that's the benefit of being ahead.

Halak is unreal!!

Carbo is an idiot! He talked about his players playing scared, thats his fault as he coaches scared. ****ing hypocrite. I am sick of seeing this team skate backwards the whole night allowing 40-50 shots every night. This is NOT a defensive hockey team.

Run and gun!

Jaro was awesome again tonight, great to see him getting the props he deserves after people were ready to lynch him earlier in the season.

And well done to the boys for taking their chances when they got them.

Finally, I don't know if it was a coaching decision, but A.Kost looked pretty good once he started playing the role of forechecker on his line. Lately, it's been Kovalev who is the one man pressing forward, looking for turnovers, but once Andrei got the job, he started skating and looked involved in the game. Hopefully we will see more of that in the coming games. If Carbo is responsible for that call, good job by him.

Philly a top 5 team in the league, I think. Nonetheless, though, it's no easy task at all to beat Philly, then play San Jose, possibly the best team in the league and beat them.

We owe everything to Halak !
