Isles are stock piling 2nd round picks, which seems about right for Guerin. It's probably Washington.

My guess is he is going to the Caps
38. Ya, that's too old. Like Lang and Schneider...

Isn't Gainey the GM that gave him that ridiculous contract? I was sooooo pissed that day, he was never worth $9M a year.
He's alright, but that was insane.

Pretty sure that was Armstrong. Gainey had already resigned in Dallas.

Yeah, you're right, it was in the same summer.
That just made me a little more comfortable.

I wouldn't mind Guerin if we can somehow get Hunter too.

We already have too many wingers...all shapes and sizes and styles. Makes no sense to add 2 more.

I'm thinking Guerin is going to one of the three:
Washington, Pittsburgh or Buffalo.
I don't see him as a Hab when we need more top 6 depth at the centre position, not the wing. And we are looking at more depth on the D-end as well.

It isn't the Habs, with Lats and Tanguay coming back soon, the last thing we need is more wingers.

Ron McLean said that most Eastern Conf. teams have denied that they are involved. The only team that stay quiet is Washington. So, it look like Guerin will go to the Caps.

Just got the following from Hockeybuzz:
Hockey Night In Canada is reporting Guerin is headed to Washington. My sourse says that is inaccurate.
Deal is pending... Will be decided by the receiving (Eastern Conference Team) soon.
Not New Jersey, Bos, or Washington.
More to come,
Andy Strickland

It only makes sense it isn't Montreal when that isn't the pressing need for the Habs.

Maybe it's the Rangers, would the suburbs ever trade a player downtown?

Even if it is Strickland, the most reliable
source on hockeybuzz, CBC is better than him. Especially if he can't spell source right.
