Here at the arena. Didn't see Crosby warm up. So not sure if he is n or not. Stephan looked solid in warm up.

The Penguins basically unleashed a plague of Biblical proportions on us.

Somewhere between bad and horrendous would be a good description.

so... what players are we using? with Brunnstrom and Ott out I assume that means Sawada and Conner are in? great. This may actually be the least talented lineup the Stars have used in their entire history in Dallas

Brunnstrom, Ott, and Hutchinson are scratched.

Modano is starting with Eriksson and Conner.

I'm rooting for a 1-0 loss. I want Stephan to play great, but the offense to fail. Brunnstrom has been bad, but Barch, Parrish, Lundqvist, Conner, Begin, ect. are all just as crappy.

hmm we haven't been scored on yet, that's good

we really need to keep Malkin off the scoresheet.

How many coaches wear glasses?

I can only think of the guy in Edmonton besides the Penguins coach? I don't know why, but I find that interesting.

That's some pathetic effort by Robidas to get back and check his man.

Daley's passing has become more and more inaccurate. What's wrong?

That really pisses me off. Daley is supposed to cut the pass off from Staal to Malkin, but he fails. Then Stephan makes a good save on arguably the best player in the league, and Robidas fails.

That was an odd-man. I never got a good look at how that went in, but if it was from the guy coming down the right wing, it was a really good shot or a Stephan leak, because that was a bad angle. If it was a pass to the guy on the left wing, whoever was the defender blew it by allowing the pass.

(Sue me, I'm trying to do several things at once while watching CI online on a 300 kps connection).

Edit: And Biggie explains it right above me. It's the always-fun double defenseman fail! Oh team...

SJ - thanks, though I assume the more meaningful assignment will be next Friday.
