*****ing about the call, not the goal.

Niemi **** the bed plain and simple, goal was deserved.

However, that call was bad. It's a really stupid rule about the moorings, but regardless if a player is pushed into it, if the net is off the moorings it's no goal.

Than why not the players just do that in any pressure situation?

Havlat didn't know the puck wasn't covered, he was coming in at full speed anyways. He definitely should have gotten a penalty and the goal should not have counted (according to the rules).

But as I said, Niemi **** the bed and the goal was deserved anyways.

I finally got hockeystreams.com to work. You can buy a day pass, and the quality is pretty good.

Actually I'm wrong:

26.2 Infractions – When Goalkeeper is On the Ice – A goal will be awarded when an attacking player, in the act of shooting the puck into the goal (between the normal position of the posts and completely across the goal line), is prevented from scoring as a result of a defending player or goalkeeper displacing the goal post, either deliberately or accidentally.

At least I'll admit it :-D

-------------------------------

The only difference is, Havlat didn't knock it off himself... I know it's arguing semantics, but still.... good case either way.

That is exactly what i predicted when it was said that he should play on the first line in the game against Wings ..which he didn't.

i was asking all the time for Pucell.........
he could be a better Playmaker than Kopitar.
He has soft Hands and a very good Hockeysense.
I want to have him here since 2 years...............

but..... we had all the good locker room guys here....
That is from my point of view part of the Problem....
While the young guns on other Teams was growing up in a line with players like Shanahan, Hull, Fedorov etc....

our Kids grew up with Armstrong, Thornton etc.....and never learned how to play effective, hard and read the play
But i always heard, they are great locker room guys

how does the name by-fug-lien get pronounced BUF-LIN?
It should be pronounced Buh-fuhg-lee-in as in you are the bufugliest guy on the ice!
