I like the Dandenault part but not so much on O'Byrne and 2nd for Morris. That's a good prospect and ANOTHER SECOND ROUNDER for a rental 2nd pairing defensemen.

I wonder if there is some truth to it? According to the Hamilton paper O'Byrne was scheduled to go to Montreal after last night's game in Hamilton. He was injured in the first period and didn't return. I doubt he was par tof any deal or he wouldn't have played.

Its been reported that Morris is only willing to be traded to Western teams so this is BS other than the fact to trade Dandy back to Detroit has some legs because he had past success in Motown before.

Can we either close this thread or make it clear it's just a proposal?

The alleged rumour source was made up. Morris could be a good option, but it's unlikely he'll waive his NTC to come here. Also not sure why Detroit, a team with tons of depth and little cap room, would give up a pick for Dandenault.
