Redo the 98-02 drafts, #4

They say it takes 5 years to evaluate a draft, so here's 5 years worth of drafts where the players are now pretty much established.

Results so far:
1. Pavel Datsyuk - 1998 #171
2. Vincent Lecavalier - 1998 #1
3. Ilya Kovalchuk - 2001 #1

Please post the names you want added.

Note: In the interests of moving this forward quickly, if a vote shows a clear separation between more than one player and the pack I'll take multiple players from a vote. In the first vote it was pretty clear that Datsuk/Lecavalier/Kovalchuk were separated from the pack by votes and post commentary. I suspect this may not happen much more from here out though.

I understand why people would pick Lundqvist over Zetterberg, because the importance of goaltending, but Heatley? Are you serious?

Heatley has been one of the best, most consistent goalscorers since the lockout. He should have 5 40 goal seasons under his belt by the end of the season. Zetterberg's two-way game probably puts him ahead of Heatley, but if you're looking for a reliable, elite sniper, Heatley is a decent choice.

That's where people overrate offense, imo. The overall value that Zetterberg brings to the game absolutely outweighs the advantage in terms of points that Heatley may bring.

I don't play fantasy hockey, but is it possible that fantasy hockey has some hockey fans misinformed? Fantasy hockey, i imagine, is based soley on stats?

Just because they have a different opinion, doesn't make them "misinformed"

I personally chose Heatley over Zetterberg because Z is fragile and always seems to be injured. Maybe it's just my imagination though.
