Its quite simple, which one is better?

2007-2008 Defense
Boyle- 6.667
Kuba-3.000
Ranger-933.00
Picard-800.000
Obrien-950,000
Lundin-688.000
Total Hit: 13.038

2008-2009 Defense
Ranger-933.000
Meszaros-4.000
Steve Eminger-1.013
Lukas Krajicek-1.100
Marek Malik-1.156
Matt Carle-2.900
Total Hit: 11.102

i mean at the beginning of the season because Carle is no longer with the team

remember Boyle only played 37 games, and he wasn't entirely 100%. Picard played 24 games.

Now add in Janik who played 61 games and Lukowich who played 59 games

What you are posting as the 07-08 D was not what we had regularly play. What you have down is the the best players. If we had Boyle and Picard play the whole season while everyone was playing to the best of their abilities, we wouldn't have finished dead last.

You can't have Carle and Eminger on the same blueline since they were traded for each other.

Picard doesn't work if it's the beginning of the season. He around the deadline last year.

Yeah, that's just plain goofy and doesn't translate.

Personally, I'd take the defense core from 2007-08 versus the cluster **** from 2008-09.
