I know I know. Falling back on the game threads here. Sorry about that. Been a really busy week/weekend.
"Now when people ask me where I'm from, I tell them Texas. Dallas, Texas." - Mike Modano, March 8th, 2014
Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs - 1997 to 2011 - WPHL Champions 1998, 1999, 2000 - CHL Champions 2011
Yeah, well, the way this team has looked lately, it'll take something crazy for them to even think about a playoff berth.
I wouldn't be shocked if they won tonight because Turco plays well in the Tank, but Sydor getting traded is the craziest thing anyone could say. I'd be absolutely stunned if they moved him, and he waived his NTC.
Why did ya'll start tracking the refs? I'm just curious.
The thread below is a team neutral thread on refs on the SJ forum. Please read the first couple of pages in the thread before posting in it. The thread is for an understanding of reffing and a place to contribute reviews. Single incidents are OK, but they need to point to a general tendency of that ref or a general reffing issue. Nemesis, our moderator, has been very good about keeping the thread to topic. We are very interested in getting skating and positioning impressions on refs.
We started looking after the lockout and did a project in the second year post-lockout where a group of 5 fans reviewed over 300 games for refs. No fan could review a game of the team for which he or she rooted. The second page of the thread has a table which gives a quick snapshot of each ref and his tendencies.
