Hi there, I have a 1999 Jere Lehtinen stick signed by the Dallas Stars the year they won the Stanley Cup. Hitchcock new my father's friend and for my birthday got it for me. Just wondering where would be a good place to sell it, or if anyone is interested. I'm an oilers fan so I keep getting bugged about it when friends come over.
unfortunately it won't let me attach pictures as it says thay are too big. please pm me your email if interested and I will send the pictures. or I have placed the pictures on www.kijiji.ca edmonton under art and collectibles.
If indeed it was signed in 1999, the stick would be worth a pretty penny. It's not just Lehtinen, but depending on when in that year it was signed, and since Benoit Hogue's name is on it it's likely the Cup winning team.
15 - Langenbrunner
33 - Benoit Hogue (had to be signed after the deadline)
18 - Derek Plante
4 - ? This is a head scratcher because Jamie Pushor comes to mind, but after checking he wasn't with the team during the Cup run. However, Hogue wasn't with the team after the Cup run. Pushor was on the following year's team though.
This is just a suggestion, so take it however you want, but it sure looks like you ought to hold out for a good bid. This stick is much more valuable than if Jere Lehtinen just signed it. I didn't even look at this thread until now because I figured it wasn't much, but with more details it could be a signed stick from the Cup winning team.

I think he may have meant that it is Jere Lehtinen's stick, or a stick with a Lehtinen pattern and says Lehtinen on the shaft, signed by the cup winning team, which is obviously going to be signed by Lehtinen anyway
Either way I wouldn't mind having it lying around the house
