Wouldn't mind if the Canucks' picked him up. I think he's more useful than Wellwood at this point.
agreed. I wouldn't mind the canucks picking him up either, considering it's a free pickup!
He would not only be an upgrade on Wellwood, but he's also been solid in PK situations in the past (where the canucks need a lot of help), and has played on the point on the PP as well... gives the team good depth overall, and has been clutch for the canucks during his time in Vancouver.... would have no problems with Mo in the canucks lineup heading into the playoffs.
This looks like Anaheim is trying to shed salary. My guess is that ownership there is in financial trouble. I'm starting to think there might be a firesale tomorrow.

I agree. I was hesitant at first, because I thought he had another year on his contract, but he doesn't.
Might be a better option than paying out our ass in trade for somebody else.
Habs should pick him up for the 3rd line, to replace Lang. Not too expensive, we have the cap space, and Gainey is looking to add another vet. forward. Wouldn't mind seeing him in Habs uniform. He's having an off season but it seems like he just needs a change of scenery. He would fit in well with the Habs speed game.
I wonder if the jackets will put a claim in on him. Like someone already stated, they tried to sign him this summer for more than the Ducks offered him...he 'wanted to stay on the west coast' so he signed in Anaheim.
I am now guessing that the guy will 'just want to stay in the league' so he will be thankful to be anywhere.
A free center for the jackets who has some level of skill? I don't see why not.

Also maybe we can un-retire #7 for him...
reverse that dreadful ceremony...
