(Another Nail in Mo's coffin) Canes @ Caps

I expect a supreme effort from the boys tonite but it will probably not be enough unless Ward is ENFUEGO!

It's rollin' 'round the bend,
And I ain't seen the sunshine,
Since, I don't know when,

I just don't care anymore. I love the Canes but that last loss pretty much clinched it for me. They'll probably squeak out a W against the Caps tonight and bring up my hopes... only to crush them again. I'm gonna write off the rest of the season so my expectations are low. If we win and get in, then great. If not, then it won't suck as hard as last year. Right now the Canes need to show to me why I should be a fan right now.

Sorry to be a debbie downer

For one last time.

At approximately 3 PM, Tuesday, July 2, a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, pulling a new travel trailer, hit the corner of the Texas State Bank Drive-In on Tenaha Street, causing the complete awning to come to the ground. Luckily, the driver of the Dodge, Mickey Miller, of Garrison and his 10 year old son were able to exit their vehicle uninjured.
On another note.

good one. By the way, anybody know if Gerry Rafferty is still a hermit in Scotland? Baker Street is still one of my faves.

what can I say, I'm tired of fighting for a lost cause. Tomorrow will go a long way to determine just how anti-management I will be over the next year. But after that I'm done for the season. If they make it, great, enjoy getting swept by Boston. If they don't, whatever, enjoy yet another mediocre draft pick.

I want to avoid Boston in the playoffs, if the team even makes them. A entire series of Tripp calling Chara the largest in captivity would drive me insane.

Well, we don't have much of a choice. They would be in first, we would be in 8th. We're not last years penguins who can tank a game to try and avoid a matchup.

Caps GDT is now reporting that Theo is out with the flu and Neuvirth is going to start in goal for them. Final score... Caps 8, Canes 0.

Yeah, I'm stuck watching the devils. Fortunately down the strech run about half our games are going to be against NY area teams so I can watch the games.
