I agree, Quick wasn't very good today.. This game really hurts because I really wanted them to win.

QFT. Scoring and offense aren't the same thing. The Kings did score, but their offense wasn't much better than it's been the last few games when they weren't scoring.

The fact that the team broke out of an offensive slump shows that they are learning to improve themselves.

The fact that the defense struggled showed that they still haven't mastered the 2-way game. But they're young and thats to be expected.

I'm dissapointed, but anyone who denies the progress that this team has made this season is an idiot. I want to see this team fight and scratch for every last point regardless of how far behind they are. If this team finishes 9th in the west they will have blown away all expectations for themselves and the season would still be a huge success.

we don't make the playoffs next season and Dean is gone as is Murray, I can almost guarantee you that...and the Kings may lose what remains of their hardcore fans as well

That's just an absurd assertion. It hasn't happened for 40+ years, it isn't going to happen now.

Interesting.

Do you realize how many die hard Kings fans became or have become Duck fans? I am talking about fans that lived, breathe and love hockey and the Kings were their only sports love.

Do you realize since winning the Cup, how many have went over there?

Not so absurd. What is absurd is thinking that team loyalty is for keeps in this town. The Lakers fail to make the playoffs 6 seasons in a row and the Clippers win a title and shine, and the exact same thing will happen...the only difference being, that will likely never happen because the Lakers are akin to the Red Wings of basketball.
