Roberts for sure! He would teach our boys to play like men!

I would also grab Satan just for the name!

Only guy I might be interested in would be Voros, for some more muscle.

I can't stop myself from thinking that Satan could be of somewhat use for us. I mean if he's going to score goals... something he haven't done this season.

So you would use up all our cap space for crap.

Satan has done nothing all year playing beside either Crosby or Malkin. Do you think he'd magically be rejuvenated in Montreal.

Roberts is done. 4th liner in TBay. That should but him on the 2nd or 3rd line in Hamilton for us. We had Begin here for the intangibles. He is not needed.

I'd take Roberts. He's the kind of guy you need around the younger players, despite being old.

Well if Bob is going to trade for someone else he should continue, but if he's not oing to do it and we have 3 millions of cap space wasted, we could think about picking him up. He's not a great player, but he used to score a lot of goals.

I dont think he's finished. He's having an off season, moving him could help, just like it helped Ryder. But i dont care if we pick him up or not.

I wouldn't mind Jon Sim or Craig Adams just for some depth.

I like Voros. Big, physical guy could be of some use should we play Boston or Philly. If the plan is to do nothing tomorrow, then I would pick him up. I think he is an upgrade over Begin, and Stewart.

A 4th line of Voros-Metropolit-Kostopolous could be effective.

Voros plays 10 good games a year and disappears, go ask Ranger and Wild fans.

Two of the worst fighters in the league on the same line. That lines give the team 0 confidence.

You guys are overrating Voros. He can't do anything on the ice and can't land a punch to save his life.

I just reviewed his fights and I didn't know he was THAT bad....I overrule my own decision. Don't want him anymore.

We don't need Voros to fight. I don't necessarily think we should pick Voros up, but he is the one guy waived that is intriguing to me.

Is he better than Kostopoulos and Stewart?

Comparing Roberts to Begin is absolutely ridiculous.

There is nobody on our team right now that brings anywhere near what Roberts brings to the playoffs. He's old, sure, but we have a young enough team that a cheap pickup would not really effect much on a short term basis. The cap hit isn't alot, he would slot in very well on a 4th line.

Roberts was effective in Pittsburgh during their run, has toooooons of leadership right now that the Habs are clearly lacking and can still snipe a bit if put in the right situation. Hard working type of player that would fit in well on a line with, say, Lapierre and Kostopolous and provide a ton of energy.

We add Tangs, Latendresse, and Roberts and I would be completely content going into the playoffs. A cheap pick up of Roberts would do more than you think, it's a lesser mans Shanahan or Guerin who would cost more to pick up for essentially the same role, although I would like to have either. Really wish we signed Shanny though.

Sorry to all the fans out there, but the Kostitsyn's, Plekanec's (especially him) and the d'Agostini's aren't taking us anywhere in the playoffs. We need warriors.

You mean he was great in the first playoff game against the Sens? I'd take Guerin or Shanahan way before Roberts, he's realy washed up, he doesn't bring much anymore. He does have leadership tough.

Kostytsyn and Plekanec are way more important for the team succes in the playoff than Roberts. They can actualy score goals, and Plec must be our more effective defensive forward.

PS: I wouldn't take Shanny or Guerin either.
