Not sure the coyotes do this deal because they want to shep salary not take on salary. That said it is a pretty fair deal for both sides. Also would Biron waive to go to Phoenix.

Biron would not only have to agree to the trade but also agree to an extension since Phoenix has nobody to be their #1 next year if Bryzgalov is traded.

Even then I can't see Maloney agreeing to the downgrade in net.

ESPN colleague E.J. Hradek e-mailed us tonight with a rumor he heard involving a bigger deal between the Flyers and Coyotes -- Morris and goalie Ilya Bryzgalov going to Philly in exchange for Joffrey Lupul, Scottie Upshall and Biron.

i have two problems with this rumor

1. id rather have jbo and not morris

2. the flyers are already low on forwards, and they are going to trade two more with out getting any back? makes no sense

lineup with no lupul and upshall

Tonight on La Zone (a tv show about sport (mostly hockey) in Quebec) they said that Biron refused to waived his NTC in a deal that would have sent him to Phoenix for Morris, then he would have been sent to Buffalo for Tallinder and Afinogenov, after that Philly would have been going after Lethonen.

But I don't where they took it...

It drives me nuts that Flyers fans live in this fantasy world where they think you can have good goaltending and defense and have three really good scoring lines. That's NOT possible.
