I can't believe Vancouver, with a division title race going on, is losing 2-0 after 2 periods to a team that has all but said it is tanking. Vancouver has 11 shots on net against an Avs team with four rookie D's with 14 games COMBINED of NHL experience.

Montreal move to 6th if they win tommorow. it would mean NJ in the first round. it could make an interesting final game vs pittsburgh. if the winner plays NJ then losing isnt that bad.

If we win tonight, only 1 point in the remaning three games is needed to clinch (assuming the rangers and panthers win all their remaining games).

Get r' done boys.

Not related to any subject discussed lately in this thread but I just noticed Ovechkin is only 2 points behind Malkin in the Art Ross Trophy race. Had he not missed 3 games earlier this season, it's safe to say he'd be ahead by now.

Just thought that with all the talks about playoff matchups, magic number, etc.., it's nice to see there are other races that will last 'til Sunday.

2 points will still be needed if the Rangers/Panthers win out.

Yep I agree with the others that say who cares what Florida does...I think (hope) that we're done looking behind us now. Let's just win today, jump into sixth, and let the Rags and Panthers worry about each other.

A win tonight means the Habs have 94 pts with 42 wins. The best the Panthers can do is 95 pts with 42 wins, and the Habs won the season series so they'd only need 1 pt in the remaining 3 games.

Yeah, you are right. So many scenarios, I overlooked that one.

If we win tonight, we'll need 2 more points if the Rangers win out though to finish ahead of them since they could still finish with 43 wins.

Sabres up 3-1. I really hope they make it in. That would mean the Habs make it too. Go Sabres!!!!!!!!!!

Sabres win it 3-1. Keeping the pressure on the Panthers and Rangers.

We should go on their board, create a GDT for them, an fill it with our insightful thoughts

Their biggest GDT ever was a 268 replies one during their last playoff appearance.
