Honestly buddy, As much as I do love Cote, his days as a Flyer BETTER be numbered.

Yes, he does have a marginal cap hit, but its still money that could be put somewhere else. Cote hasnt had a great fight in awhile, and alot of times, it seems he doesnt even fight anymore.

Now with Carcillo and Asham (who both are better players then Cote), unfortunately Cote is expendable.

And me, of course, would like too see him continuing with the team. Too bad he's not big enough to be the nr1 fighter for any NHL team, but IMO Flyers should get one real heavyweight (Parros please!) to take care of those really big guys and let Asham, Cote and Carcillo dance with the mid-weights and smaller heavyweights.

In that case Cote would be more free with learning to play the puck and not just training the fighting and getting stronger.

Team toughness > one undefeatable heavyweight.

Having many people who can fight and one fighting the big guys would be the ideal situation for the team, but that's my opinion and my opinion doesn't count as my post count hasn't reached 100, right?

Back to the topic, let's go Flyers!!!

Is it just me or does Carcillo look like a chump? He looks like that guy in high school who I would of either, hated and thought he was a complete tool. Or, was that guy I would of wanted on my side because he was a tool.

edit: I really have to get used to me having a new avy, it's weird not see Ossi laying into Zubris.

I really hope we dont have Cote,Asham, Carcillo, and a number one enforcer all on our team at once. I'd much rather have Ross and Nodl fill the the extra spots.

No but really, the way it was in my school for lunch was many kids wasted all period begging for .75 cents from kids to buy a Philly pretzel.

Danny Carcillo:
18 Fighting Majors x 5 Minutes Each =90 PIM
3 Misconducts x 10 Minutes Each =30 PIM
9 Offsetting Minors x 2 Minutes Each =18 PIM
0 Non-Fighting Majors x 5 Minutes Each =0 PIM
18 Non-Offsetting Minors x 2 Minutes Each = 36 PIM

Total Penalty Minutes =174 PIM
Average Time on Ice =11:58
Total Opposing Power Plays Caused =18

Scottie Upshall:
0 Fighting Majors x 5 Minutes Each =0 PIM
1 Misconduct x 10 Minutes Each =10 PIM
2 Offsetting Minors x 2 Minutes Each =4 PIM
1 Non-Fighting Major x 5 Minutes Each =5 PIM
22 Non-Offsetting Minors x 2 Minutes Each = 44 PIM

Total Penalty Minutes =63 PIM
Average Time on Ice =13:13
Total Opposing Power Play Caused =23 (Including 1 Major)
Phenomenal analysis right there. I touched upon it in another thread, but didn't quite get into that depth with it. Many think Carcillo takes an ungodly amount of bad penalties, but in actuality that isn't really the case when you take a closer look.

Really.

I am fine with Asham and Carcillo being on the team. But Cote and another enforcer?? Hell no.

The difference between Upshall and Carcillo...Carcillo fights. Both are fast good hitters. I like the move.

Cote is rocking back and forth and umping around during the anthem. I wonder if he is eager to get punched in the face.

Niitty got the start. Wasn't he good against the Flames.
