Ässät has shown so little will to do any damage in SM-liiga so a little change wouldn't hurt...
Some changes in the management certainly wouldn't hurt, but that's not likely to happen since Ässät will play in the Sm-liiga next season. Sport wouldn't do any better than Ässät though, guaranteed.
What's the deal? You can also find Ässät fans from youtube. Luckily these games are played on ice, not in the stands though a water gun would match the spitting Sport fans... And who can stand Tamminen if he gets the promotion...

So you're saying that Ässät fans can have that kind of impact when Ässät is playing away from Pori? I don't think so. And that's the deal. And I think a possible relegation would serve as a well needed wake-up call for the organization in Pori.

Tami overrated? By who? I think he has been dirt for years.
I root for Sport too in these series, well I gotta my dad used to support them in the 70´s while living in Vaasa.
And agree with JYP thing too, I can´t stand both of them but hope that JYP wins.
Home team audience should do that on a regular basis, especially if your team is in danger to sank. But the way Ässät have played the whole season I understand it´s not that easy.

And which teams fans could have done that against the red army? Besides they got their faces owned (in both meanings of the word) in the game 7 and thats all that matters really, since - as we all know - it tends to be the deciding game of the series.

...and it goes to JYP goalies Sinuhe Wallinheimo and Pekka Tuokkola. In case someone doesnt know. Those guys played about half and half of the playoff games. I dont have anything against it even if JYP`s defense made it pretty easy for those guys.

I would have given the trophy for some of their defensemen. Playoffs overall, Välivaara 2+6 and +7, Malmivaara 2+3 and +10 would have been great choices.

Didn't see much of the SM-Liiga this year but why is it Assat is in such disarray? Was it just simply finances that caused so many players to head elsewhere or are there other issues? HPK-Assat was quite entertaining a couple of years ago. What happened?
Well, they basically lost many players from that team and even if they got lot of money for success, they didn't invest on getting better players. The team that went to finals wasn't that good in material (they had really good spirit though).
I think he has been dirt for years.
