I really like this as well.

Something for nothing, they've learned from the Nagy debacle!

well it looks like we're going to go for that playoff push

Lundqvist needs to be traded now.. he doesn't fit in anywhere when our players get back except for in the press box.

What about this?

Ott-Ribeiro-Lehtinen
Sutherby-Modano-Eriksson
Neal-Morrison-Brunnstrom

1) Get's Conner out of the Top 9
2) Sutherby has been good crashing the net on the wing
3) Brunnstrom and Neal are good together.

He's not very good. We'll have to see. I just don't see much there.

Far be it for me to speak for piq but I think his point was Morrison is terrible. Which I can't really disagree with, so Dallas picking him up is not impressive.

Morrison has been good in the past.... he's having a rough year but I think he has 4 goals against the Stars, so at least those are out of the lineup for the Ducks this week

This isn't awful, its a free move and he's gotta provide more offense even if only a little. Worst case, he gets dumped to waivers later, no risk at all, with a possible reward depending on the role he gets fit into

Morrison has struggled recovering from ACL surgery but he's healthy and skating well. He just wasn't clicking with the Ducks so I think a change of scenery might spark him. As for him playing the point on the PP can't say he'd be good at that all.

Canucks used him on the point for awhile.... he wasn't awesome but any stretch, but he was serviceable

Let me qualify -- Morrison is not good. It's a safe move in that you know he will not be good.

If it stops them from throwing picks into the furnace for Recchi though, I guess you could consider it positive.

You don't have anything to lose giving him a chance... But he will blow, don't expect anything else.

Someone in the Dallas Chat room today said they heard Tampa called Jackson/Hull and said they would trade Recchi to Dallas for Benn + 2nd...................

It's a good safe move. Moves Loui back to the right. Brendan is not the guy he was but is still a deft passer and solid defensively.

Gets Connor out of the top nine and helps us make our playoff push.

Fantastic move as far as I am concerned.
