Good Memories ...

Someone mentioned Gilmour in another thread and it got me thinking about the Playoffs and how exciting and thrilling they are for us Hab fans.

I found this page, and I'm telling you watch the videos because it really is awesome reliving the stuff that our boys did to the Bruins that year. Saku's goal in Game 3, Kilger working his butt off, Killer standing up and giving a speech to the players, Audette and Perreault scoring game winners, Zednik and Petrov driving hard, Souray fighting Mclaren, etc.

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/stan...ns-bruins.html

It really was awesome that year.

It makes you... cry!?

You were already on the list of suspects because of that whole Danielle Sauvageau lingerie fetichism fiasco. Crying over a team with Audette and Kilger that only reached the 2nd round certainly won't help to remove you from there.

I know but Audette, Perreault and Kilger were all heroes during those series... Wow I just don't realise that I said that

No, they weren't heroes. Medieval knights who volunteered in thousands to traval to Palestine to fight for their religion were. The GIs who landed on the coast of Normandy under heavy fire from the Germans were. The firemen who went into WTC to try to save a few more people while the whole thing threatened to fall on them were. Audette, Perreault and Kilger are just professional players who get paid a lot to play a game. They may do it well. They may have talent. They may inspire many people. Yet they are no heroes.

I'm not trying to look important in any kind. It's great to show dedication to a team. Yet, crying over a playoff round that happened two years ago seems odd to me. It's all about having priorities.

Seriously, this is a hockey board, they are heroes in a hockey related way, no need to get all drama queen on us.

Now, tell me how I look like a drama queen.
