LOL. Though to be honest, it's not cause the kids won't let me...I always feel more tired after my naps, unless it's strictly a 20 minute power nap.

That being said, I'll probably end up with a chocolate lab once the kids are old enough to take care of a dog. If my kids are anything like me (and Lilia is exactly like me), they'll love animals and want a dog.
My boss has a 1 year old Corgi. That dog is adorable, but completely insane. So soft and cuddly though. I dogsat once and he was too cute.

I have never had a dog. I had 8 different cats growing up, and three of them are still alive and living with my parents. When I moved into my first apartment, I adopted my cat Bruce from the MSPCA. I think I'd like to have a dog someday, but I'm not sure. If I did, it would probably be either a German Shepherd or Husky, or something small like the pictures PK was posting. I don't like that weird dog smell that dogs have though, and how it gets on your hands and stays there. My coworker has a black lab as a guide dog, and he's adorable, but he smells.

Q. What do you call a dog with 3 legs?

A. You don't. He won't come to you anyway.

The perfect nap to me is ~45minutes/1 hour... anything less and I don't feel refreshed and anything more I feel graugy as heck after I wake up because I cycled out of deep sleep more than once.

How long have you been playing? I finally decided to try it out this year, and at 30, I really wish I would have done it when I was a kid. I just finished an 8 week "learn to skate class", and had my first "learn to play hockey" class last night. Definitely glad I did the skate class first, though I have to say falling isn't nearly as bad in full gear.

I'm still pretty bad at skating backwards and hockey stops, but as soon as I get those down a bit better I'll start going to friday night pick-up games.

If you want a big dog that's good with kids and other pets, consider a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love this breed. Great dispostion.

I had a friend who had a dog with no legs. He named him cigarette.

Every night he'd take him out for a drag.

Well as a kid/teenager, we only played street hockey in the summer time, shoes only even. Even then, not that much. So my hockey experience was minimal. I started playing roller hockey about 2 years ago, but even that wasn't regular. Sometimes every week for a few weeks, sometimes once a month, then I stopped playing as there was more people starting to play with skill levels way above mine. And even then, I was playing goalie mostly.

Then about a year ago, I started playing ice hockey with a bunch of people from work. Just renting the rink every week and playing for fun. Again, I was goalie mostly. In fact, I've only played out 4 times in a year.

So I just started an instructional program at the end of February. My ice hockey experience, goalie excluded, is about 4 games and 3 training sessions

My skating was actually already pretty good. I also finally learned how to stop. I could already skate backwards pretty well, do cross-overs, etc. I can actually see my skating in general improve already.

I can't wait to finish and play regular games.

Oh, I'm almost 26 so I think I started playing roller around 24 and ice around 25.

i'm confused...don't they automatically scale down and the only way they are big and mess up a page is if you maximize them?

these big pictures don't effect my view of the thread at all.

They are stretching it way out for me too. I think because I have scripts disabled.
