I just looked at the schedule of teams placed 7-13 and we have a pretty good schedule finishing up... we are goign to require another good road run though and we have a 5 game road trip coming up starting in Boston and finishing in Dallas with games in Pitt, Chi, St. L. If we get 4 wins on this road trip this will be critical in staying in the race.
We need good efficient special teams play and good hard forechecking on even strength paired with defensive consistency going the rest of the way to remain in contention.

Like some of the players have said, these are all Game 7's for the Kings. As long as they stay within a couple games of a playoff spot, every victory will feel like winning a playoff series, and every loss will feel like the season is over.

The game tonight, as long as the Kings win, that's the thing. The Canucks are far enough ahead of the Kings that it doesn't matter even if the game goes into overtime, the Kings need to get 2 points. The Kings don't play again until Friday, and it sounds much better to be 3 points out of a playoff spot and not playing until Friday, than 5 points out of a playoff spot and not playing until Friday.

In order for the Kings to have their 7-0 run they've got to win tonight.

I know we are going to lose some games before the end of the year but I dont know if I will be able to handle it. Every loss from here on out is going to make me feel like **** until their next win.

Go Kings! The last thing any of us need is to feel like **** until our next game Friday.

Moller will score tonight, Purcell gets another as well.

Quick... no more questionable goals, shut it down tonight

Kings win 3-1 with an empty netter

What are you guys talking about? We are sweeping both these games and putting Vancouver to the brink of playoff elimination. Rejoice.

Well we've been talking about must wins all season and I think we've finally reached a point where the Kings can only afford to lose 1 out of every 4 games. Considering who their next few games are against, these next two are pretty much must win if they want to have a chance. That is a tall order!

All I want is intensity from the Kings that starts in the first minute of the first period and doesn't end until the final buzzer. If they do that, I guarantee they will be fine.
