Well, thats more likely but let me dream about it
Can't imagine what will be the score if we play against players like Ovechkin (if he is out with the Caps)...

But hey guys at least we have the meanest and dirtiest mofos in the World Champs: Ruutu and Komarov It´s going to be hilarious to watch their stuff and probably in the same line Though I hate Komarov but I have to learn to like him in the Lion uniform...

Edit. Oh wait! Is Evgeny Dirtykhin playing for Russia?

May I present the hot streak busters. Also called Finland`s offensive pairings.

Teemu Aalto - Ville Koistinen
Petteri Nummelin - Anssi Salmela
Janne Niinimaa - Janne Niskala
Mikko Lehtonen

May the force be with you Pekka...

Janne Niinimaa has worn out his welcome. He shouldn't be there over any SM-liiga or Mestis defenseman.

C'mon now, that's a little bit far fetched.

As long as he plays to the best of his abilities I welcome him on this team.

Janne's best defensive skills are *****. As a forward, I wouldn't mind it. But I bet the goaltenders are crying about him being on the team.

I wish we could have some grit and toughness in the defense from at least 1 player...atm we have 0 (And nobody say something about Salmela! he is useless in that department)...Welcome Canada!

I seem to remember a scrap he got into with a USA player in last years WC. Didn't he get suspended for a game of two?

Lol, he also bled like a stuck pig..

Kukkonen is 0-3 down in the AHL playoffs with the Phantoms.
I think he could help our weak defense a lot!
Joensuu also is down 1-3 with Bridgeport!
What do you think of them?

Kukkonen would be an awesome addition, first by adding good defense and second by bumping Jaana out of the lineup.

Lets go Phantoms! Lose another one! Welcome aboard Lasse. We have been waiting for you.

Sure it would be nice to see Joensuu play, but I think there is no room for him.

There are several worse guys in the team than Jesse.

Might be, but those guys are already in Europe. Jalonen will have some level of threshold for taking Jesse to the team. Jesse is with AHL status and it`s not that simple to drop out guys you already picked. Last year it was easy for Jalonen (Shedden) to take Philström (AHL) to the team, cause he was already in NA.

Kukkonen as a defensive defender would be a great addition to our offensive minded defense corps and I like his skills to block the shots. I hope we get him!

Both Joensuu and Kukkonen should be available now for WC. Hershey and Bridgeport were both eliminated tonight.

We could use Joensuu's size (6'4 - 207lbs) on the team.

Kukkonen would be a solid addition to the blueline, and would be an improvement over Teemu Aalto or Janne Niskala (who's passports are not signed yet).

Niskala is usually pretty decent on the national team, Aalto should go and Niinimaa should be an extra defenseman.

I don't think they'd bother to get Joensuu to travel there if he is going to be the 13th forward.

And with Kukkonen we'd have a golden opportunity to seat Jaana.

Yes! Thats great news!

Imagine how good our team will look if Carolina loses today and Pitkanen, Ruutu and Jokinen joining the team!
