Playoff Chase Scenarios:
Best Case: A Buffalo win plus a regulation win by the Pens and a regulation loss by the Habs would put the Sabres one point out of the playoff picture with a game in hand on the Pens and Canes

Worst Case:
A Buffalo loss in regulation plus a Panthers win in OT/SO and a Habs win would put Buffalo four points out of the playoff picture with a game in hand on the Pens and Canes

LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!

You're part right. Briere was back, but he got hurt in that 5-1 loss to the Flames last Thursday.

Jeez. Between his injuries lately and Drury's poor performance / price ratio, it almost seems like in retrospect Darcy did the right thing. Unintentionally, of course.

It is very ironic that they may have ended up in even worse shape with one or both of them signed than they are in now without them here isn't it? Time for bed.

Considering he could have locked both up under 9.5 million total at one point, no, he didn't.

STOP MAKING SENSE SO I CAN STOP YELLING!

But really, the Flyers seem to be a more similar matchup to Buffalo than most teams in the Eastern Conference, but I think they're better in every aspect except for goaltending...except for right now.

They win 5-2.

9,000,000,000 to 2, Flyers. We are going to lose this game and then panic mode. That's why I built a panic room just for situations like this.

Is Telly getting the nod?

If the lineup is healthy, this could be a good game. I predict Biron giving up a softie or two, if the Sabres actually play in his face...

Yeah, apparently he tore a suture from his groin surgery, and had some internal bleeding. They think he'll be fine letting it heal on it's own - if I were the Flyers I'd be sitting him for another week, just to make sure they don't lose him for the playoffs.

No no, we'll win this one because it's an opponent that we could understandably lose to. We'll save the losses for the plethora of games coming up that we should be able to win handily. This is known as the Sabres Frustration Maximation Theorem, and it's mathematically provable, but only by me.

OT: Thanks PK, but I have one gripe here. Opeth does not scream, they growl, there is a difference. I take it Clock has introduced you to the band?

I'm guessing we lose this one to effectively put us out of the playoff race.

i LOVED your forwards and scratches (except i don't get stafford)!

i'm not following your defense, but still props for creativity.
