Way to go VS.....neither of those special teams numbers are even close to right

They aren't even switched...I have NO IDEA where those numbers came from (CAR-NYR last night, perhaps?)

The refs just missed a couple holds on Philly.

WTF? Why did it take them so long to blow the whistle?

you didn't miss much...well except one of the flukier goals you'll see

Really the best play of the sequence was Max getting to the corner in time to keep the puck in the zone about 10 seconds before that.

If there's no danger of a SOG and it's the offense's fault the net came off, the ref can choose to not blow the whistle until Philly gets possession.

I believe the faceoff will come in Philly's zone now.

EDIT: Ok, outside their zone...still better than where it would have been otherwise (outside our zone)

I think it was an advantage thing... if the Sabres were able to keep the puck in the Flyers zone for longer, the linesmen could've fixed the net on the other end. The second that the Flyers gained possession they blew it dead.

Just a guess though

Thanks. PP time due to the Carter take-down.

WAY too slow getting back there. There's no reason Roy should have had to be the 2nd guy back.

That play should have been whistled down when Kaleta hacked the puck into the zone. That happened about 2 seconds AFTER Ellis' infraction.

Vanek did NOT have a good 4 on 4 shift there. Coburn beat him to the Sabres zone for a great pinch chance, then he vacated the zone early so Numminen didn't have anywhere to go with the puck for another chance.
