HUGE road game here. Their road play has been abysmal for a few months. Hopefully that changes.

with a win, they'll be three points up on the canes with a game in hand. A loss, 1 point back with a game in hand.

Talk about an important game to win in regulation.

I think tonight, it's mainly about will and desperation for the win. They can prove how much they WANT the plaay offs, and how much they DESERVE it.

Dwight Helminen playing on the Hurricanes? Another fine acquisition by Sather.

Carolina is playing some inspired hockey right now, they're feeling pretty good about themselves, the Staal/Cole reunion is paying huge dividends and they'll expect us to be flat.

Let's throw some water on their party and tighten it up!

Let's go Rangers!

Really looking forward to this one. This will be a tough game against an equally motivated opponent on the road, but we have the horses to win it. I expect a bunch of goals for both teams and a nail biter finish. 6-4 Rangers w/empty netter.

This is about as close to playoffs as you can get. Lundqvist is going to have to be sharp, especially late if the team starts to slow down from fatigue. Have to get the two points out of this one since it is a head to head with a team that is in the race. Put up some goals and shut these guys down!

LETS GO RANGERS

Jonathan Paiement and Jakub Petruzalek are also in their system. I saw all three of them play for Albany against the Phantoms (featuring Nate Guenin) a couple months ago. It was quite the 2002-2004 reunion.

every game is so huge right now. If they can win this and gain 3 pts up on Carolina with a game in hand it will be sweeeeeeet.............a cushion from the #9 and #10 teams is needed.

I still think this team can get 5th but 2nite is indeed a big statement

Big game indeed. Not easy to go 4-0 for the season series or consecutive wins on the season...but it sure would be nice to get a W tonight!

Not a "must win" game yet, but it's getting there
