I dont remember the last time I entirely desagreed with Dubé, by far the best analyst and hockey man on the air, he is also very close of the team and always bring some content..

No Villeneuve is the perfect spark plugg for this show. Sports guys at SRC are usualy more calm and cerebral and when they tried a sport show before La Zone with one of the regulars running it it was sleep-inducing. It took Villeneuve to go there, add fire to spark debates and then you have the cerebral taking things apart. It's like the opposite of L'Antichambre and 110% where the host is the calm influence trying to bring peace to the nuts in the asylum. Also La Zone talks about other things than hockey.

don't look now but if we win our game in hand, we'll only have 6 less wins than the mighty bruins. interesting.

moral victories?

wait, if you don't count the 3 victories they have over us according to their logic last season, they only have 3 wins over us!

Don't even bother bringing the past into the equation... I just came back from spending too much of my time showing them that the Bruins actually have a LOSING record against the Habs all-time... if that tells you anything.

Their nickname would be one of the most oft-repeated phrases in Québec:

"tsé"

2nd period was like a kick in the nuts. If we forget that period, game was quite good. We need consistency!!

Judging by the quotes following Carbonneau's departure Koivu wanted him gone. If that is the case he had better have a stellar end of the season.

And he is, so far. Do you follow the games at all? Or, do you just come out of the woodwork to kick the team when they are down?

Sure you're not with a quebec paper or something?

Only saw the last 25 minutes of the game last night but can I just say WOW! Sounds like Komi improved a fair bit last night. His shots are now getting past the forwards and hitting the Dmen? Great news.

That's all Gainey man. All because of Gainey. Making everyone take it to the next level.

That's exactly what I was about to post. Villeneuve does a great job asking questions your regular fan would like to see asked, and then these questions are answered very well by the panel, with thoughtful answers.

I thought l'antichambre would be that kind of show, sadly I was mistaken. So the only late night sport show I watch is La Zone. I usually just skim on 110% and Antichambre then leave after 3-4 minutes because of brain convulsion.
