For whatever it is worth, Richard Petiot, who came over from the Maple Leafs in the Olie Kolzig deal, played a pretty good first game for the Lightning Wednesday night against the Senators. He had three shots, two blocks in 18:13 of ice time.
The difference tonight, of course, is
Petiot will be playing against his former organization. Can't really call the Leafs his former team because he was with AHL Toronto. But Petiot said he is "excited." It will be interesting to see if he can handle the excitement, not to mention the pressure.
Guys, please do me a huge favor; if you are going to lose tonight (and you are going to lose tonight) do so in regulation. This accomplishes two things:
1) You don't get a point for being sorry ass ****ing losers.
2) You don't piss me off nearly as much.
We all know that if you are in a tie game after regulation time you are going to lose so do whatever you can to keep the game from going into OT.
