The rest of the team had no wheels and he is at fault somehow? Yet again he was the pretty much only one trying.
It's not that Ward was at fault, it's that the assumption is Leighton will get a start on this road trip and it should have been burned on a game we lost anyway.
I don't think Mo has any choice but to go with Ward again on Saturday. But if he doesn't, I'm not as down on Leighton as most so I would be fine with that. It would give Ward almost a week off before the stretch run.
I worry that all of these teams pushing are going to raise the bar for the points needed, and that some will be "taken' from the lower and upper teams who aren't in crisis mode. I think we have to be prepared for another rush to the finish line like last year where a few teams just keep winning and winning.
