This is what ive been saying about this ****ing team forever. the exceptional every once in a while is not good enough. the exceptional needs to be the standard. i dont blame renney for this, i blame the pre lockout near decade of despair for this. then under renney mediocrity became acceptable because all we got before it was substandard garbage. when you watch the truly well coached teams, you dont see average games, then every once in a while an exceptional game. you see exceptional games, and every once in a while an average game. THAT is why we need a guy like Torts behind the bench. Stop accepting mediocrity, and start demanding the extraordinary.
because as we all know, the difference between ordinary and extraodinary is that little extra!

We need to play extraordinary hockey for the next 2 games. If we could somehow beat Philly twice we could potentially be in a 4th place tie. Philly has 2 games in hand, but they would still have to win them.

You can tell in the interview that Hank loves Torts already.

Of course he does, if only for this new aggressive system he's implemented.
Henrik would rather make 15 extra saves than struggle to keep things at 1 GA every game.
He can handle more shots, what he can't handle is the feeling he needs to virtually shut out the opposition every night.
In the end it lessens the pressure on him, and I think he's going to play better because of it.
