Flyers clinch playoff berth with win today?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Flyers clinch a playoff spot with a win or tie today?

I came to this conclusion because the Flyers need 1 more point to automatically have more points than Buffalo and any team under them can theoretically get before the end of the season.

Your correct, the Flyers clinch with at least a tie today.

Buffalo would have to win every single game to get 93 points.

Being the second team in the NHL to clinch a playoff berth sure wouldn't be too shabby.

I don't mind that match up, personally. If they get Stevens back it may change some things, but it may hurt them as well, it's been a while since he played so there no way to know if he'd have the same impact. I'm not saying it would be easy or even that the Flyers definitely win, but there is a new confidence playing against them now and I think one way or another the Flyers have to go through Jersey.

there are 7 out 8 team sin teh EAST that have a chance of going far in the playoffs. No matter who we play, it will be a very tough series. I'm kind of hoping it's Montreal because at least I can finally watch the Flyers in a playoff series.
