It sucks cause the team is actually working pretty damn hard tonight and they haven't been rewarded with goals and not even a few trips to the PP. Hard work generally creates PP yet one team has 6 while the other has 1 and really the teams don't look too different.

Hopefully they don't get frustrated and can catch a break. Typical NHL though. Nicely scripted sadly one teams playoffs hopes are getting hindered in the process.

Or it means that our Habs don't have such great value after all.

It would of taken something like Higgins + Gorges + 1st round pick to match that, so probably Gainey just didn't want to do it.

What worry me is that after 3 games, there is no improvement, 0! Even if we make the playoffs, we wont last long the way we have been playing tonight..

Games like this have been all too common for the Habs this season. The Carolina game earlier in the season was the pinnacle of ineptness on the part of the officials. Or, focusing on the Habs too intently. Good to see that this still is a constant in the league.

Problem with Jokinen was salary cap not the return. Why twist stories around to have a reason to bash the very same team that we love...

The Devils are usually disciplined but tonight they are just getting a free pass. It's annoying to say the least.

Hopefully the Habs can somehow get this thing into OT to get at the least a very big point. Better second period than the past few games, hopefully they'll continue to skate hard in the third and shoot more, gotta just throw the puck at the net, deflections are a good way to beat Marty.

I am laughing at the people saying "hopefully the habs can get to overtime and a get a point". Give me a ****ing break. There is no reason why the Habs can't win this game. It has been very even except for two PP goals that NJ got in the first.

**** overtime, **** a point, lets go for the win.

For anyone that likes baseball, SportsNet is showing Puerto Rico dominating the USA. It might be called early at this rate.

As far as I'm concerned, Prust is no goalie. And why the heck would you trade Halak when Denis is actually not able to be a good goalie in the AHL and when CLEARLY the Habs have no confidence in him for all the time he was here and didn't play a single game.

For the record, I would take Lombardi ahead of Higgins, tomorrow and the day after.

If Komisarek gets a penalty there, the guy deserves to get benched.
