St Patty's Day Hockey

Am I the only one who thinks that the Rangers vs. Bruins should be a St. Patrick's day tradition? The two US cities with probably the highest amount of Irish people in North America. It only makes sense. They got it right two years back, too bad whenever they get something right they tend to offset it by messing it up.

Didn't we destroy them like 7-1 or something in the Garden then as well? I think Cally had a pair of goals.

I think the drunken brawlers in the stands put an end to that.

Yeah was 7-0. Cally with 2, Cullen with 2, Prucha, Rozsival, and Avery.

They should serve free beer and give out free irish walking canes to the first 5000 fans.

I think a Rangers/B's game every year on this day is a really good idea.

The game should also start at 1PM.

I cant decide if I think the idea of a green jersey is lame or not... cuz for the knicks it actually looks pretty cool.

Yep I was at that game. It was 2003. Absolute insanity. The Islanders were actually pretty good that year so there were alot of their fans in the house and that only added to things. The Rangers won 1-0 on a late goal (can't remember who scored it). Great game, but unfortunately we still missed the playoffs.

I don't think green jerseys are needed though. It would just look strange - especially on the Rangers. It doesn't look terrible with the Knicks and I enjoyed the whole "Kryptonate" thing, but I don't think the NHL needs to go down that route.

I don't care who we play as long as Callahan gets the game winner every year.
