Definitely gonna be the best offer Pittsburgh will ever receive for Crosby!

ya not good, but besides all of the players involved, mario would never let shero trade crosby for anyone in the league, if he did that , then mario would have to hire a new house cleaner......... lol

I truly hope so. If this is an honest post by someone who truly believes they have made a good thread.... None the less the can hardly be considered to be a post by a leafs "fan". A true "fan" of the game would know that this is ridiculous.

If you want to talk about Pittsburgh moving a guy, how about Malkin to the team with the first overall pick at the draft, with prospects and picks also coming in that deal.

You would say, but whoa..malkin! Yes, this is the time to move him. Russians are sketchy players. Trying one second, who gives a **** the second. What would Pittsburgh get out of the deal? Two canadian superstars, more prospects, plus the cap room of having tavares on a entry level contract.

Poni is a consistent 20goal winger with size and a wicked wrist shot plus he has decent board work and inst deficient defensively. He would be a great compliment to Malkin on the first line in pits, and would probably be a great replacement at 28 years old for Petr Sykora as he is a UFA.

The 2009 first rounder would get you a first line talent. Kane, Schenn, msp, Schroeder, any of them would be a great addition to the team, and there is a number of wingers.

Tlusty would fit in perfectly as a great young winger and would provide an extra winger to join the system already stocked with Tangreti*sp* and Caputi. Tlusty is crushing the AHL right now and is completely dominant - he definitely has first line upside but would be a 2nd liner on a good team.

Stralman could be swapped for any number of prospects/players in our system not named Schenn, his is simply a value inclusion.
you know what? you're right... matt stajan would be a good third line center in pittsburgh, and could bump up in case of injuries. jordan staal then gets to play the second line and can focus on his offense more, while malkin easily can handle the first line..

you're probably right, ponikarovsky would probably work very well with malkin, establishing a board game for that line, a lot of ability to work down low with quick striking potential...

you're right, toronto's first rounder would give pittsburgh a very good draft pick where they could pick either best player available, or fill an organizational need with a solid prospect..

you're also right, tlusty could add some competition for caputi and tangradi, essentially driving all three of them and could help make them all better players. he would add speed, some grit, and only more potential...

and you're right, stralman is a good young defenseman, and could probably see some time as a 6/7 on the powerplay...

all of this does make sense and could occur.. however look at who you are trying to obtain, arguably the top player in the game, who is so young, (is he even legal age yet?), so strong, and so dynamic. you are attempting to trade for sidney crosby, do you realize that? and do you realize how while your reasoning for each player/asset offered is fairly accurate, it does not come close to what sidney crosby is to the penguins, as a player, and as a commodity?

no, you probably don't (if at all you are serious)

i think all these things above could happen only if crosby has perished and toronto didn't know what they were receiving in the trade, angered to see a deceased # 87 arrive on the flight. they'd probably still dress him and lay him on the ice though as stubborn as burke is

Before posting whatever their thoughts might be, I'm in favor of all xenophobe's polishing their English skills, and for love of country, capitalize that c.

There should be some sort of penalty for proposals like this.

Five years after having the NHL's worst attendance, the Penguins played before their 100th consecutive sellout crowd.

/thread.

Even for a 'better' proposal no owner is going to trade this for any combination of players you could think of.

This thread is magical.

Back to reality.

What would Toronto want for Kulemin, just out of curiosity?
