Look at the Leafs for example. They didn't start to get really good until they called up buncha guys from the marlies. But at least they're trying to do something different.

Well at least it was not Raycroft who would have been near he faceoffs. Boods was fine, the D should have boxed the guys out of the house.

Not mathematically, but that doesn't mean there's a chance.

McNab after that last Souray bomb rang the post: "Lucky for Peter Budaj he doesn't have a dent in him."

Wouldn't he have to actually get in the way of a puck first?

I like how Vernace has looked. Same with Peltier, actually. I hope they make the team next year.

Galiardi is really thin; he looks like a guy I'd see at drop in. He's looked really nervous so far.

The Monsters have only gotten 4 shots on net so far. One went in, so that's not so bad.

Did Isee that right?
A little while ago the shots were about 5 - 4 Oil after McLeod's goal. Now it's 12 - 4.

Yup, Galiardi needs to add 10-15 lbs.

Wolski may not be putting up the points but he is a different player than he was last year. Great season for him.

Galiardi has looked a little shy out there but he has worked hard and has been extra cautious defensively. Lots of speed with him and Hensick on a line Granato, just saying.

NEXT PERIOD! GAME ON!
i predict the oil will tally two more goals to this lead, regardless of how many we score, which I'm gonna say a total of one more, but i'm not sure If i should be so optimistic.

I'm impressed...keeping the rookie D together. Having Galiardi center a line and taking faceoffs.

Galiardi's positioning and defence is really good. He's a smart player. He's probably really nervous right now. Remember how Stewart did his first game. I think if Galiardi can bulk up around 10 pounds or so he could use his size similar to the way Wolski does. Not so much in the hitting aspect, but just overall reach and puck protection.

Yay another bottom 5 finish if that happens.

3-1 Oilers

I'm trying to figure out what Nycolat, Vernace, and Arnason were doing there.

Budaj 3rd goal beat him glove side ... my dad said he was hooked but i didn't see that, did any of you?

He's been playing the position well and I can't see much where he could've improved his play to stop it. What happened to the D on those two goals? Seriously, I wan't paying attention to them.
