Stop it with your facts, it's better to blame him for everything.

I wouldn't mind seeing just 1 Hab lay out a hit instead of receiving one.

I wonder if they can "un-fire" Carbonneau. He wasn't the problem.

i actually found myself laughing out loud on a couple plays. i'm really starting to lose interest in the regular season, which says alot considering every game is (supposed) to be an intense fight to make the playoffs

And why should we? As bad as we look, we're still in this one are we? Buffalo is still without Miller and Florida is playing really really bad hockey with Horton missing. Clearly, there are teams in worst positions than us which makes the playoffs really possible. It is a loser way to see this but it is a way anyway.

What are people expecting FFS...elite goaltending every night to bail us out?

Time for the team to actually take it in their hands and bail out the goalie...This is just plain pissing me off.

For the love of god please give Koivu a couple games off, he is absolutely brutal, almost as bad as our defense.

this team will somehow sneak into the playoffs

and as fans we will have false hope that they might do something

a slow and painful death it will be

Gainey won't be fired IMO in the off-season, but if he can't turn the team around next year he will be gone. But I just feel like no one can fix this franchise unless they actually know what we're missing instead of trying to fill flaws with the same type of guy. It'll be like hell for him in this off-season. When you set up people's expectations this high, you find out just how angry the fans of Montreal can get when things go to hell. Gainey still thought he could do well with a team featuring no physicality on the blueline, precious little grit on the scoring lines, no size down the middle and a finesse team trying to play the trap. Well, that was a foolish plan and it's finally been exposed for the fraud it is.

The 2nd one he should have kept his 5 hole closed, but the first and 3rd were total flukes.
