That's cause they don't tie up people or block shots. And if they had any ability in the traffic areas themselves, they'd be the ones getting deflection goals.

Koivu has been quite good on faceoffs this year. But whatever is causing the team to suck at every position has now struck that skill, too.

Meh, we're only down by 2. Habs will still win this game.

Fire Gainey, Timmins is in control of the only positive aspect of this organization.

So in the 10 game super-at-home-vs-easy-crappy-teams stretch everyone was looking forward to we're half way in and we're 1-2-2

Not to sound like a troll or anything, and I'm sure some of you are thinking it, if not already discussing it in other threads, but...the Canadiens are playing no better under Gainey than they were under Carbonneau...

Sure the 3rd was a deflection....still, do people really think that all the deflections go in? It's funny how the fact that it deflected is always a reason why Price never makes those stops. I've seen goalies stop those type of deflections once in a while.

But then, this team as a whole is a mess. It can't be solely on Price 'cause again, it will be too easy for the rest of that team who doesn't deserve to not be responsible for what's happening.

Good news is that there are still 2 big periods to go. Anybody who thinks that game is gone, as bad as we look, just doesn't follow hockey that much.
Well I follow the Habs and I know we're likely done. It's not that we can't come back to score 3 or 4. It's because I can't see us shutting anyone down long enough to do that. It's a team who can't keep the biscuit of their net to save their lives. Why should it start now?

I hope this organisation finally learns and lets koivu walk this season he's not even a good second line c right now and guess what we have nothing in our system right now at the center position. This is all so depressing

So painful. They way the guys just crumble after a goal goes in, zapping everything in them. I still can't figure out wth Price was doing on that third goal though, he looked a complete asshat without a clue... I think that may be the first real negative thing I've ever said about the guy.
What a mindscrew this team has become.

Koivu wins a couple faceoffs in a row, Brunet says nothing. He loses one, OH NOEZZZZ. TEH SUCK CONKERZZZ

I really hope we don't resign him and let Kovy walk too. We need to turn the page on these losers.

Florida loses to Toronto and we lose to Toronto, then the Leafs are primed for a run... to 9th spot and calls of "This team is close to competing!" God their situation is actually depressing in itself, but nowhere near as disappointing as us.

This team has no ****ing confidence in their goalie right now and it's killing them. On the other hand, Price doesn't have much of a team in front of him. ****ing vicious cycle...
