Willie Mitchell

Just a question to Canucks fans

For what he brings, is he more or less untouchable?

Well Mitchell's not untouchable obviously, but he does have a NTC, and came to Vancouver specifically to play for his home town club so I don't really see him being interested in waiving it. He's a guy who will most likely be a career Canuck in my opinion.

I suspect he'll sign another 4 year contract at similar numbers once his existing one is up after next season.

Top 5 in +/- this season and he has a NTC. Plus he's a local boy.

I wouldn't say he's untouchable, but he comes pretty damn close.

it would have to be an offer that both made it more than worth it for the Canucks and that Willie would agree to. I can't see it happening.

We'll toss you Mitchell for Alzner, although I doubt he waives that NTC of his.

Well obviously, anyone would do that, but that is just never gonna happen. Semin is 0.03 off of Ovechkin's PPG this year. Both of them aren't going anywhere.

Add in an extended Henrik Sedin and you've got a deal.

Mitchell is 99.99% untouchable at this point.

And as good as Semin is, he just doesn't seem like the type of player that would 'gel' with the team. The Sedins' look like the second coming of Probert next to him.

You missed the part where he *****slapped Rangers' rugged stay at home D-man into oblivion I suppose.
