Saturday night - Turning point?

Leafs have absolutely nothing to lose Saturday, while in comparison the Habs have everything to lose.

It won't be easy, but to me this is the game, that determines the Habs fate....beat their arch rivals and end this messy losing streak or lose and let the shame continue, against another non-playoff team.

No more humiliation...it has to end.

If there's going to be a turning point, I think it will be tomorrow.

We're so incredibly overdue to completely outplay an opponent and once in awhile this team actually shows a pulse against the Leafs.

Other times they don't.

If they don't win, I really don't see the Habs recovering from the loss.

This game is huge.

do or die game saturday night. if we lose we will not make the play-offs, if we win we have a chance of turning our game around just enough to make a 1/2 decent run. my fingers will be crossed.

something around 1750 if you count all the practices,games,off-ice activies and the number of 110% shows during a season

It better be the "positive" turning point 'cause Carolina just showed lots of character by coming back from a 2-goal deficit and beating the Isles.. do we have enough character to do the same?

That is THE question. It's not a matter of talent anymore.

With all the possible scratches, Komi, AK46, and D'Ago, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the team responds.

Halak gets the start.

At least the message from Gainey is clear....playing like **** will no longer be tolerated.

Just hope there's enough time left for Bob to clear the cobwebs from the team's collective head.

Higgins declared today that the team wants the W real bad...

Three of the last four loses were by one bloody goal... so they are close.

I like our chances better with Halak... he's more mentally stable if he should let in a soft one

Leafs, Thrashers, Lightning, Isles, Leafs, Sens remain on the schedule. They should win 5 from this group alone, starting tonight.

No, but at least we'd beat them.

Which hasn't happen often this year.

Love to see the Leafs win 3-2, with Grabovsky scoring a hat-trick. Talk about rubbing salt in the wounds.

The problem is....they haven't been winning the "should win games".

As long as they actually play defense for once, I'd be happy.
