Lapierre/Latendresse/Kosto appreciation thread

It seems to be the trend around here so I took it upon myself to make a Lats appreciation thread.

Let me start off by saying that I bashed Latendresse for 90% of his games before the injury occurred and I couldn't be more happy to have him back. Last night, he was absolutely dominant on the boards when he had the puck, using his size and strength. Aside from that, things looked a little shaky but I imagine he'll need a couple games to shake off the rust anyways.

So heres to you Lats! Welcome back!

Gui, Gui, Gui, Gui !

Yeah I could have waited, but someone else might have made the thread before I had the chance.

What I noticed during the Rangers game is that when Lats is on the ice, he makes a difference. Just because of his size he can be difficult to handle for other teams. Habs should think about bring in some size on our first two lines during the off season.

This is why we need to keep both Latendresse AND Pacioretty. Down the road having them on our top 6 could give us a *gasp* gritty offense. Pacioretty isn't at the level of Latendresse yet tho (I can't believe some people argued that Max was better than Guillaume when the season started ), and Latendresse himself needs to continue working on his game.

And some wonder why Carbo sent this line on the PP at some point over Kovy.. Thats our best line, plain simple.. Kovy sucks as hell, a shame to see a guy like this wearing this jersey!

It didn't work when it was only Lapierre-Kostopoulos.
