If Mason got punched, I would expect to see some suplexes, flying elbows off the top of the glass, biting, attempted stabbings with broken sticks, etc.

This was not a handshake and pat on the butt hockey fight where the unwritten rules applied.

Indeed. I'd expect to see some fans jumping the glass and joining in, as well.

If any Jackets fan hasn't seen the clip Moo made for the GDT, you have to. It's awesome.

Pull for Phoenix. A Star loss cripples what's left of Dallas' chances to make the playoffs.

Enver Lisin with an accidental imitation of Willy's SO goal vs Toronto makes it 2-1 PHX.

Versus' comments on the odds of all 5 Central teams making it/CBJ comments:
-Will it happen? Jones says Yes. 6-8 seeds all with great goalies, Rinne, Mason, Mason. Our Mase is the Calder Winner, write it down.

-Engblom says all 5 make it. Nashville with goal scorers missing, might be the one in trouble. Coaching in the Central helps- Hitch, Quenneville, Murray, Trotz doing great. Playing against Detroit helps other Central teams "learn" quickly & learn to play like Detroit. Engblom mentions the CBJ beating the Wings 3 in a row & gives love to our 8-2 win. Being able to play like Detroit=Win.

Nice, but I'd prefer outcome predictions of the CBJ vs. Nashville, Chicago and SL in the next 12 days.

I didn't make it. Skraut actually made it. I just wrote the script.

But here it is...

... and the Sharks won 2-1!

I think Anaheim will steal one spot from Central so I'll say 4 teams make it.

Very Sad... I went to a number of "Guaranteed Fight Nights" in their old barn when I went to college at UD.

Is that 4 ECHL teams this season to go under? Just brutal.

So what site has the best NHL streams (pay or free... makes no difference)? I'm going to need an online feed for the last couple CBJ games and prefer an HD signal and great streaming, no chattering video. Opinions?

www.hockeystreams.com is what I use, but while it was great at first, I've felt really ripped off the last couple of times. They have HD streams too if you pay more, but I don't trust them now so I don't know. I'd probably just spring for the last few games here in regular feed as a roll of the dice, probably cost you like 10 bucks or something.

Best result would be Edmonton beating Anaheim.

It is probably good news. The owner of the Dragons has wanted to bring an AHL team to the Dayton area. Probably wouldn't have happened with the Bombers around. Also been talk of building a downtown hockey arena with other ice surfaces for the public to use. Etc....

I have a hard time seeing a town the size of Dayton with an AHL team. Heck, Cincinnati couldn't sell enough tickets to justify bringing back the AHL, and its a town that supported two minor league teams for several years.

If Dayton folds permanently I hope the ECHL considers giving Youngstown a franchise. They supported the CHL pretty well, but the travel expenses and lack of natural rivalry made it impossible for it to work long-term. With Wheeling, Cincinnati and the new Toledo franchise in the ECHL, I think Youngstown could make a go of it.

Anaheim is up 4-1 with inside five minutes left in the third. Barring an Edmonton miracle, the Ducks will move into the seventh spot (wins tiebreaker on Nashville) and bump St. Louis out.

Dallas is up on Los Angeles 2-1 in the second but the Stars are pretty much a non-factor, especially as far as we're concerned. Stars would have to win out and we'd have to lose out without any OT/SO points to tie in the standings.

You may have your miracle, 4-3 now.

Wasn't enough of a miracle. Anaheim had a power play for pretty much the end of the game and scored an empty net goal to make it 5-3.

Ya, I saw... though break Oil getting that late penalty. Edmonton is just about ready for some golf.
