Well, we certainly control our own destiny from here on out. Nashville once and the Oilers twice within the next week or so, along with a couple games with the Avs. Beating the Oilers in both games would definitely increase they likelihood of making the playoffs.
The two games against the Oilers are going to be the most important games of the year. Edmonton has a tough schedule ahead but we can't give them any points.
I feel compelled to point out that neither of Getzlaf's goals were shots on goal. A deflected shot by Pronger and a pass that deflected off a defenseman. Just saying.
