Some time is passed and he's growing better and better. Here I published an interview with Grigorenko: http://www.russianhockeyfans.com/pro...r-now-118.html

There are many rumours about Grigorenko in Russia, that he is not 1994 year born indeed

Are those stats good for a player his age in that league?

Pretty good. There are only few players of his age in MHL

There's only a handful of 1994s playing regularly in MHL. So, 8pts in 12gms is darn impressive.....especially on CSKA's MHL club which has a deep roster of older players.

Agree. You should also take into consideration that Mikhail doesnt play first-line as far as i know he plays third or even fourth line and his linemates are not as good as he is. Red-Army is the strongest team in MHL as for now, they lost only one game. And its very good that they have such good young players as Grigorenko and Prokhorkin(10+4 in 12 games)
As for Igor Grigorenko he is very good for Salavat Yulaev, has 5+4 in 8 games, had a hat-trick tonight, last season he was one of Salavat's best scorers(22+14) in 55 games

lol, a 16 year old is not allowed to play in the KHL, I don't think even 17 year olds are, maybe with special permission from the league.

MHL Krasnaya Armia - Reaktor 9:2 (Grigorenko 2+2)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gsiN...eature=related
Krasnaya Armia - Bars 8:2 (Grigorenko 1+3, Kucherov-hat-trick)
Krasnaya Armia is in red. Players to watch: Grigorenko(44), Kucherov(86), Prokhorkin(93), Gusev(97), Marchenko(5), Barbashev(88). Grigorenko played first-line center with Kucherov, and people who watched these games said that when they were on ice they were just unstopable. Just look what that pair did at 4:23 of the second video

thx.

he really got some slick moves and got the eye for the teammate as well. impressive.

and what, beside being Russian and being not overly big, holds Kucherov back from getting hyped for this year's draft? skating, hands, shot all impressive. he seems to drive the net as well.

Gusev with some nice passes. lookig forward to next WJC.

And Prohorkin didn't look out of place in the fight, and can score as well... intriguing.

It's the biggest secret for me as well. Maybe U18 WC will help him

Would have thought junior hockey would be a bit more popular there, attendance doesn't look too great.
