Why Ryder is taken away from Riberio is crazy, but Julien should experiment now, before the playoffs.

I like it...

gotta love Bulis-Dowd-Ryder.

And wow the Dagenais-Ribs-kovi line will be run over. We should seriously have gotten simon or barnaby. Both have the same number of goals as Dagenais, and they would provide grit on that line.

Could you explain me what is to like?

The two guys I like less on the team are on the first two lines...

Atleast there's no Juneau and no Dackell.

I dont get the idea of putting Ryder with Dowd and Bulis, I guess he want to create 3 potential scoring lines.. but I would have put Ward in center instead of Dowd even if i like Dowd, Ward as a better offensive potential, imo. they better put Ryder in the PP.

It's on RDS.ca. Looks like more of an experience though more than anything.

I guess CJ wants to go into the post season knowing how each player will react in every situation. I doubt that he has suddenly began to use crack.

Marc, i think defining the lines as 1,2,3,4 will get meaningless as the season winds down. I think Ryder playing with someone else is viewed as spreading out the offense rather than a demotion.

That's my guess too, but weren't Ribeiro and Ryder clicking well?

I'd rather see Kovalev on the third line than Ryder, no kidding...

If anything we should keep the ryder-ribeiro-kovalev line intact and have dagenais playing with bulis and dowd. Why mess with a winning formula . I mean the ribeiro line had a combine 2 goals aswell as the koivu line so why mess it up.

i understand he wants to try juggling the lines a bit but i dont think theres enough time.
also i waz happy when dags waz off the roster now he's back
also i thought CJ would go for 2 real good checking lines and 2 supream scoring lines but who knows 9 games left

Well I wouldn't be surprised if Bulis or Ryder find themselves getting shifts on the second line over Dagenais at times during the game.

Julien probably only want to give some rest to Ryder before the playoffs.

Not sure i like those lines but while been a "potential scoring line", I dont see how Ryder-Down-Bulis is not exactly what you said: a real good checking line...

i never said that would be a checking line i said i thought he'd go for 2 checking lines and 2 scoring lines, but with this line up he has 3 scoring lines and 1 checking line

IF Dagenais starts caring more about the team and less about himself (his stats) and shows passion, he could be a player on this team. I compare him to Perreault... if he plays like Perreault recently has been playing, I'd take him. We need as much scoring as possible and there's no doubting he can score. If only he could give a damn about something called defense. (then he could learn to throw a check... nah I'm starting to ask for way too much)

I like this!! While Ryder and Ribs have been working well together, Dagenais can't work with anybody other than Ribs, and love him or hate him, he can score. Why not try to get him going?!? Having seen Dowd play a few games, and knowing that Bulis can score, and drive, we suddenly have a "3rd line" that can match the other team's top line and be a scoring threat. Don't worry too much about Ryder, he'll still get some points (I think Dowd is more his type of player than Ribs) plus he'll still see his PP minutes.

If you have a chance to have 3 strong lines, why not do it. The only thing that worries me is the defensive work of Ribs' line.

It's not that bad if you take a good look at it, Ryder's is not really getting demoted and if we've learned anything from him this year is that he'll produce no matter who's playing with him...and despite Perreault good play recently I still don't like hi mon that first line, i'm just waiting for him to disappear again...Those 4 lines CJ will have for tomorrow are very well balanced and will force the opposing team to adjust to the Habs as the top 3 lines each have legitimate scoring threats...great to see Bulis back in the lineup, he's a very important player for this team and his works often times goes unoticed, wonder what will happen when Sunny gets back, in the RDS article it mentions that CJ is giving a break to Dackell and Juneau, but I doubt it's that...I think that they've become spare parts, I mean what does he have to rest them for, they've barely been playing

My guess is Julien wants both Kovalev and Ryder playing right wing. Koivus line has been on fire, cant touch that, so Ryder goes 3rd.

Kovalev creates the attention to allow Ribeiro to move in (i.e. Ribs' first goal against TO). Dagenais can score - despite everything else...

CJ's trying to get 3 scoring lines going ... not a bad idea, but we shall see

I don't really like this idea at all, but I guess it's worth a try. The nice thing about having a playoff spot clinched (well pretty much) is that CJ can try things like this. I imagine we'll see some tinkering for the next 6 games or so as CJ tries to fine tune the lineup and give some guys a rest.

As long as the lines are set with 4 or 5 games left before the playoffs, I'm happy.
