Ok. Schedule comes out tomorrow. Aside from 3 games in the Mauseleum, and 3 games in Newark, I want to at least 1 or 2 Rangers road trips this season. Boston, Philly, and DC are the 3 most logical and inexpensive and time consuming trips. Those are the ones I will probably plan on doing. But feel free to discuss all your rangers travel plans all season long.

Last season I hit Boston and Washington for Ranger games and Buffalo for the Winter Classic. This season I am looking to do three trips:

Switzerland/CR
Chicago Winter Classic
Montreal

So much fun, just so expensive ...

If you like going to road games do yourself a favor and go to Montreal. It's a great city and those fans REALLY support the Habs..

Last year I went to Philly once, Boston once and Newark 3 times. They won every game except the Boston one too, so that was enjoyable.

This year I expect to do the same, maybe with a trip to Washington too. I'm also hoping to get to a Rangers/Leafs game in Toronto, as I haven't been to Toronto since 2001 and I've never seen a Leafs game there.

When does the AHL schedule come out? I'm hoping for a Wolf Pack road trip to Winnipeg...closest thing I can get to a real Rangers game.

If it counts I'm planning to go to all our games in Jersey this year. Had a great time there in the playoffs of course so trying to replicate that experience. And the commute/low cost is obviously a good factor.

It will depend on my work schedule, but I'd like to go to the games in Newark plus one or two in Nassau... If it's feasible, I'd like to get a game in Buffalo, Washington, Boston, Montreal, Toronto... Probably won't get to all of them, but those are the ones I'll look into.

MTL is a must. Did it 2 years ago and it was a blast.

Easy trip up there I95 all the way to Canada, then its not much further till you hit downtown.

I have about 3 or 4 people in my Rangers firm who are "up" for away games. I've awlays wanted to be part of a massive invasion of organized Rangers fans. Maybe this is the year we can do it? One can hope.

Around the beginning of August. There's three teams who have to wait for their NBA tenants to get their schedule before the AHL schedule is released.

I don't know if I'm going to attempt a NHL road trip like I did this past season. If the scheduling Gods side with me, I'll make one trip. Don't know where I'd like to go yet.

Montreal is a must. I live in Vermont...so my brother hops a 40 minute flight out of JFK (Jet Blue) for $69.00 each way. I scoop him up at The Burlington Airport...then it's an hour drive up to Montreal. Last season we stayed at the LOEWS HOTEL, which is where The Rangers stay. The Bell Center is with-in walking distance. Most of the players usually skip the team bus and walk to the venue.

anyone interested in doing such a trip...let me know. I'd love to be in on it. Montreal has a lot to offer.

If you take I95 all the way to Canada, you won't be anywhere near Montreal. Does 95 even go to Canada?

Usually, I take 3 or 4 trips per year. However, getting married in February and we are paying for it all ourselves. Already doing a Giants trip, Vegas in October, not sure I can swing a Rangers trip this season.

No, but I'm guessing he mean I-87 which goes straight from the Bronx to Albany and then to Montreal.

I have done Chicago, Nashville, St Louis, LA, Anaheim, San Jose, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, Minnesota and Denver. If anyone needs any advice on traveling to those cities for games let me know.

If there's any combination of Chicago/St Louis/Nashville back to backs it's a pretty easy, inexpensive trip. Canada and California can get pretty expensive.

Not sure what I am doing this year - I still need to see Detroit, Columbus, Dallas and Phoenix in the West.

You're in luck, as the Pack play the Moose, in Manitoba, twice this season. Actual dates aren't out yet, just the matrix of what teams they'll be playing... see the Pack thread, first post.

Montreal is the way to go. A group of us STH's go every year. My friend usually gets around 40 - 50 tickets. So for 250$ you get 2 nights hotel (Sheraton), and the game of course. Not the best seats in the house, but it is interesting up in the upper sections. Plus you're with a huge group of Rangers fans. We have done this every year since 2004. He usually has some extras spots as well. Travel is up to you. I live in N jersey, so it takes about 5 hours to get up there (350 miles).

Boston's only a 45 minute train ride for me. Love to do a little HFNYR "pre-game" with anyone who makes the trip up.

I'm starting at University of Georgia in a month, so needless to say I'm going to be making the trip to Atlanta whenever the Rangers are in town.
