This was in the Sunday, March 14 Larry Brooks/New York Post hockey column:
Finally, regarding Bob Clarke's comments that he had no intention of fighting after being intercepted on his way to the Ottawa locker room in the aftermath of the brawls between the Flyers and Senators last Friday: Of course Clarke wasn't going to fight; he wasn't surrounded by Dave Schultz, Moose Dupont, Bob Kelly and Don Saleski, now was he?
Regarding that little tussle with Ottawa last week, a friend of mine works for the Flyers and sepnds most of the game in the tunnel. He said Clarke was nuts after the game. He said it was getting so crazy that all these reporters were rushing to the lockers to get interviews and 2 guys ran into each other. They started yelling at each other, almost getting into a fist fight. My friend was like everyone wanted to fight that night.
