Does Carter play wing?

Wings fan here looking for some helpful info please.

I'm a member of a nerdy board game hockey league; and long story short we're only allowed to keep 11 players at the end of the season. I am keeping Carter regardless but if he played enough wing throughout the year I would be allowed to keep him as a winger and it would give me room to keep another center of which I have plenty.

If would be nice to know early whether or not he does so that I can trade and move players accordingly..

Thanks much for satiating my nerdy inquiries!

Didn't he originally play on Richie's wing when they first came up?

Highly unlikely. He is a center.

He temporarily played wing with Foppa.

He likely won't play anything but centre in a Flyers uniform going forward, though.

I think it was 5 games, and it didn't work out great.

It was because he had mono, and by then Knuble was working out just fine with Gagne and Forsberg.

He's a center but can we have a winger take faceoffs in his place?

Not sure Hartnell or Briere is any better. Knuble is pretty good but hasn't played with Carter all year.
