Okay Bob it's obvious you're not allowed to watch, listen, or speak about Toronto. You are bad luck.

DStars,

You don't want to hear yet again about what I think in regards to Conner, Lundqvist, Begin, Morrison, or Parrish do you?

It's better that I scoreboard watch.

Haha fair enough. I think I saw them win against Detroit on opening night though.

nashville scores on the power play. 4-3 final/ot

LA only gets one point. Crap.

You left Sydor off that list.

But I continue to think that rooting for a better draft pick is the height of silliness. I understand the logic, and if they end up with a high draft pick, it'd be nice, but I refuse to root for the Stars to lose or the teams ahead of them in the playoff race to win just for a guy who might be NHL-ready in 2-3 years.

Don't care about the Eastern teams though.

Kritter,

There are six really, really good players in the draft.

Tavares, Hedman, Duchene, MSP, Kane, Schenn

After that there is a drop off. Not to say Cowen, Schroeder, OEL, Kadri and others aren't good but these guys are potential franchise players.

I promise you at least three of them will be playing in the NHL next season. It can make a huge difference a heck of a lot sooner than 3 years. Heck does it matter that it takes three years? Picture if Dallas had had other prospects and never traded Iginla. Drafting matters. For every Loui, Neal, and Niskanen, there are Toews, Backstroms, Kessel, Brassard, Okposo, and Muellers.

Watching Dallas win a meaningless game against Florida in comparison just isn't all that exciting. Come April 11th either way they'll still be golfing.

Boston is just working Toronto right now. 7-4 at the intermission and Atlanta is thrashing Ottawa.

Though that's not as horrible as the Islanders somehow blowing what was once a huge deficit to Colorado. I do not want Tavares playing in the West for the freaking Avs. Are they really going to balloon up?

I sure don't want Tavares playing for the Avs. I am hoping the Isles can hold onto last place so they have the greatest chance of landing the first pick.

However with Wang we never know what he will do, he might pick Hedman

in that Boston/TML game I never would have guessed that Poni would leading both teams in +/- at +3, nobody on either team is more than +2 besides him. impressive for him I suppose

Taveres is a star. he's a guy you build a franchise around. Wang/Snow won't pass on him if they're first. If their second they'll happily take Hedman but if they have the choice I'm 99% certain they'll take Tavares.
