Why Does Habs PP Suck?

It seems that our PP has been just plain ugly since the all-star break. The fact that when Souray went down so did the PP is not a coincidence, but there has to be more to it than that, IMHO. Almost every time we lose possession in the opp. zone we can't penetrate the blue line again and the PK unit's just seem to pressure softies like Yanni, Breezy & The Cube who cough the puck up constantly. I really thought that the acquisition of Kovy and his stickhandling brilliance would make us a lot more dangerous on the PP ........Maybe we just have to wait for Kovy to become more comfortable and that other teams will respect us again when Souray is back on the blue line with that canon. Thoughts?

IMO Souray.

When hes there, it opens up the slot area for one timers down low.

I think Souray makes the pk unit shiver

I think he means how it has stunk the last 10 games or so, because it has.

Before that it was awsome, but Souray was there so---

#44 is right being #5,#6, or #7 is not to shabby.

But lately, YUK, the PP stinks and we look like nobody wants to carry the puck then when they do move it no one knows what to do with it.

IMO

I think that they just got a little stale. Kovalev will help as he is good at gaining the zone.

Kovalev Souray will dominate everything on the powerplay. Souray will wind up for his insane slap shot, the defence will all pee their pants and leave, then the amazing pass to Kovalev who scores the easy goal.

Can you say poopdie poopdie pants?

(Yeah that was a dumb post)
